Dalai Lama: Activist #2

The Dalai Lama is a budist exile from Tibet. He is the 14th Dalai Lama, and his name is Tenzin Gyatso. He won the Nobel Peace Prize, and he also won independence for Tibet through an international struggle for rights of freedom. He is important because he preserves Tibetan culture and education among the thousands of refugees who accompany him. To the left is a picture of his highness, the Dalai Lama.
